Membership of the Royal British Legion connects you with a proud community of veterans, serving personnel, and supporters — and helps fund vital welfare services across Poole and Dorset.

Eligibility

Who Can Join?

The Royal British Legion is open to everyone. Whether you've served, are currently serving, or simply want to support the Armed Forces community, there's a place for you.

Veterans

Anyone who has served in the UK Armed Forces — Regular or Reserve — is warmly welcome. Membership gives you access to welfare support, comradeship, and a voice in national campaigns.

Serving Personnel

Current members of the Regular or Reserve Forces can join the Legion and benefit from welfare advice, legal support, and a network of fellow service members.

Supporters & Associates

You don't need to have served to join. Associate membership is open to anyone who wants to support the Armed Forces community and get involved in branch life.
